I contacted a farm in Concrete, WA today.
I leave May 2nd, provided the farm-lady gets back with me and says all is good. I get to live in a trailer, work hard everyday, and hang out with a bunch of other people. I’m pretty excited. It’s a community-type farm, so that will be extra-awesome. I’ll be there for a month, and then will figure out what to do from there. I have a feeling people think I’m weird for liking things like two-day train rides and living on farms for nothing more than room/board for hard work. I have a feeling these people are missing out on life experiences.
I have a feeling these people actually finished high school/college and have stable jobs with actual goals in life. It’s great to see that dropping out of high school is working out for you, though. Keep living the dream!
